He has completed his post-graduation in Commerce and Law. He is a member of Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa since the year 2013. He is also a Fellow member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India, an associate member of Indian Institute of Bankers and an Associate Member of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK. He has completed Government Diploma in Corporation and Audit and has wide experience in handling Securities Law, Commercial law and property law matters.
He has vast working experience with various reputed organizations such as Union Bank of India as a Probationary Office for the period of January 1975 to August 1982. Thereafter he worked with Orkay Industries Limited as the GM (Finance) and Company Secretary for the period of August 1982 to May 1999. He also worked with the Informed Technologies and Nagpur Power Industries as the GM (Finance, Legal) and Company Secretary for the period of June 1999 to June 2004. He also worked with Uniklinger Limited as the GM (Legal) & Company Secretary for the period of July 2004 to November 2005. He also worked with DHFL as the VP (Legal) & Company Secretary, for the period of Jan 2006 to Dec 2013. He worked as the Sr. VP (Legal) & Company Secretary, AHFCL (Motilal Oswal Group) for the period of Jan 2014 to Jul 2017.
Major Assignments done by him during his work period are as follows :
· Drafting and implementing Employee Stock Options Scheme (ESOP), within the legal framework
· Documentation and Filing of appropriate proceedings under SARFAESI Act, Civil & Criminal proceedings for Loan recoveries
· Mergers and acquisition of Deutsche Post Home Finance Limited (a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank) Germany with Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited.
· Approval from the Competition Commission of India for Mergers and Acquisitions.
· Obtained Housing Finance Registration for the following Housing Finance Companies in India:
· Aadhar Housing Finance Corporation Limited
· Aspire Home Finance Corporation Limited
· Drafting/Vetting various commercial contracts and property documents
Currently, he is having directorship of organizations namely Thar Commercial Finance Private Limited, SYS Corporate Advisory Private Limited and Yash Foundation.
